For over 25 years, MATV, Malden’s Media Center,
has been providing this community with access to
digital technology, training, and channel time for
people who live, work, or go to school in this very
diverse city. Our mission has always been to foster
communication and encourage the sharing of ideas,
information, and talents with all our neighbors and
friends within the community at large.
MATV has become a vibrant media center
where people from all sectors of the city come
together to express themselves, share their
knowledge, explore their cultures, and encourage
citizen participation. MATV believes in free speech,
empowerment, and diversity, and that building a
community strengthens democracy.
We are a membership-based organization
that is governed by a nine-member Board of
Directors. It is through the hard work of those
members, along with staff and a dedicated group
of volunteers, that the mission of MATV is fulfilled.
